ARMADALE SETTLERS COMMON

Public BBQ

Armadale Settlers Common in Bedfordale offers an accessible network of sealed and gravel pathways winding through Western Australian bushland, where wildflowers bloom seasonally and native birds provide a soundtrack to the walk. The trails cater to everyone from dog walkers to wheelchair users, with QR codes marking routes and picnic tables scattered throughout for breaks. The paths maintain that bush atmosphere despite their proximity to each other, threading through stands of trees and flora. It's particularly popular with families and dog owners, especially in winter when sealed paths keep paws clean. The terrain stays mostly flat and manageable, though some find it less challenging than proper hiking trails. An abundance of dead trees hints at environmental pressures, and wildlife sightings are modest. Someone's penchant for crafting unsettling sculptures in the scrub adds an unexpected (if mildly disconcerting) artistic element. A solid choice for accessible bushwalking close to Perth.
